Blacklands Farm sits in oak-fringed meadows outside Henfield, roughly midway between the South Downs and Brighton, and has been run as a family caravan and camping park for decades. It's a straightforward, no-frills touring site: perimeter hardstanding pitches for caravans and motorhomes open all year, with a grass field for tents opening up over the summer months. There are fishing lakes on site, a play area for children, and a small country shop selling essentials, local produce and ice cream. Footpaths lead straight out from the gate into the surrounding farmland, with a handful of good pubs within walking distance and Brighton and the Downs a short drive away. It's a quiet, unfussy park rather than a resort, which is exactly what its regulars come back for.
