About this campsite
Bryn Gloch is a family-run touring and camping park in Betws Garmon, a small village on the River Gwyrfai between Caernarfon and Beddgelert, with Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) itself only a couple of miles up the valley. The park has grown over the years from a simple field into a well-equipped base with a shop, launderette and games room, but it has kept its farm feel, with sheep grazing the surrounding fields and the river running along one edge for paddling and picnics. Pitches range from open grass for tents to fully serviced hardstanding for tourers, plus a handful of shepherd's huts and pods for those without their own kit. It's a genuinely family-oriented site, with a playground and football field, and its position right on the NCN8 cycle route and close to the Welsh Highland Railway makes it a popular base for exploring Eryri without moving the car every day.
