Cae Gwyn Farm Campsite
Cae Gwyn Farm, Bronaber, Trawsfynydd, Gwynedd, LL41 4YE, Wales

About this campsite
Cae Gwyn Farm sits in 140 acres above Bronaber and Trawsfynydd, right on the edge of Coed y Brenin forest and looking across the valley to the Rhinogydd, the wild, trackless range that separates the Vale of Ffestiniog from the coast. It's a laid-back, dog-friendly farm campsite built around simple grass tent pitches and a handful of small campervan spots, with a farm-run mountain bike operation, Bike Ranch Snowdonia, based on the same land, complete with guided rides and a private jumps line for guests. There's no pretence of luxury here — non-electric pitches, a basic toilet and shower block, a camping barn for group bookings — but the position, wedged between one of Wales's best-known mountain-bike forests and some genuinely remote hill country, is hard to beat for walkers, riders and families who don't mind roughing it a little.
