Cashel Campsite
Cashel Campsite, Rowardennan, Loch Lomond, Glasgow, G63 0AW, Scotland

About this campsite
Cashel lies on the quieter east bank of Loch Lomond, between Balmaha and Rowardennan, with the water on one side and the trees of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park on the other. Pitches run down towards a shingle beach, and the premier ones look clean across the loch to Luss and the hills beyond, which is a fine thing to wake up to. The West Highland Way passes the gate, Ben Lomond is a short drive up the road, and you can launch a kayak or paddleboard straight off the shore. There is a shop and a modern amenity block on site, and Balmaha with its pub and boatyard is a few minutes away. It gets busy in July and August, so the loch view pitches are worth booking early.
