Coity Bach Farm
Coity Bach, Talybont-on-Usk, Brecon, Powys, LD3 7YN, Wales

About this campsite
Coity Bach is a working hill farm on Bryn hill above Talybont-on-Usk, with the camping field set high enough to look clean across the valley to the Black Mountains. It's been run by the same family for years as a mixed farm stay — cottages, shepherd's huts and a gypsy caravan alongside the camping pitches — so there's always a bit of farm life going on around you, and children in particular tend to love it. The Beacons Way footpath runs from the farm gate, and it's a level, waymarked mile or so down into Talybont-on-Usk itself, where there are two pubs and the towpath of the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal to wander along. Pen y Fan is around a thirty-minute drive for anyone wanting the higher mountains, but plenty of guests are happy walking straight from the farm. Small campfires are allowed, dogs are welcome, and there's a toilet block for campers.
