About this campsite
Comrie Croft is a 231-acre working estate between Crieff and Comrie, on the edge of the Perthshire Highlands, and one of Scotland's better-known eco-campsites — though "campsite" undersells it, since the ground includes birch woodland, open meadows and a hillside of mountain bike trails. Pitches are scattered across several distinct areas rather than lined up in a field: quiet, car-free spots tucked into Birch Woods, open meadow pitches close to the facilities, hillier ground at The Drum with wider views, and dedicated campervan bays. Every pitch gets its own fire pit, which is unusual and much loved by regulars, and there's an on-site farm shop, café, bike hire and even an outdoor sauna. It's a genuinely family-run, environmentally conscious operation — solar power, composting toilets in some areas, a discount for arriving by bus, bike or on foot — and makes a good base for Glen Lednock, Loch Earn and the hills above Comrie.
