Cwmffrwd Farm Campsite
Cwmffrwd Farm, Pengenffordd, Talgarth, Brecon, Powys, LD3 0ES, Wales

About this campsite
Cwmffrwd Farm is a low-key, eco-minded camping field of about twenty-two acres of wildflower meadow, set up in the hills near Pengenffordd between Talgarth and Crickhowell, with the Black Mountains rising close by. It's the kind of place that trades facilities for space and quiet — pitches are spread well apart across the meadow, and it leans toward simple, low-impact toilets rather than a full amenity block. A handful of ready-pitched bell tents are available alongside the tent pitches for anyone who'd rather not carry their own. The Beacons Way and the climb up to Waun Fach and the Black Mountains ridge start virtually from the gate, and it's a short drive down into Talgarth for a pub or supplies. It suits campers happy to go without electric hook-ups and hot showers in exchange for a proper hill-farm setting.
