About this campsite

Kinloch is a small family-run site on the shore of Loch Dunvegan in the north west of Skye, with the flat-topped MacLeods Tables across the water and seals and eagles about most days. Some of the pitches sit right on the tidal shore, so the view changes hour by hour, and the tent field is a decent sheltered stretch of grass with the campervan hardstandings set off to one side. Dunvegan village is a short walk for the shop, the pubs and the castle, which is unusual for Skye where most sites are miles from anywhere. Neist Point, Coral Beach and the Cuillin are all within driving distance for a day out. The site runs from late March to the end of October and fills quickly through the summer.
