About this campsite

Ninham is a family-run site spread across a quiet landscape park of mature woodland and rolling farmland just outside Shanklin. Pitches are generous and individually allocated across open grass fields, with footpaths and bridleways leading straight off the site into the countryside. It is about a mile and a half downhill to Shanklin Old Village and the sandy beach, with Sandown, Luccombe and the chines all within easy reach. The site has picked up AA campsite of the year honours for the South East, and it shows in the tidy pitches and the well-kept facilities. A good base for walking the coastal path or cycling the old railway route across the island.

Spacious allocated grass pitch in the meadow and orchard fields with no hook-up, sized for larger family tents. Pitch your unit on the left of the plot with the car alongside on the right. Charcoal barbecues raised off the grass are fine, open fires are not permitted.
