Pwllyn Farm Camping
Pwllyn Farm, Libanus, Brecon, Powys, LD3 8NN, Wales

About this campsite
Pwllyn Farm is a simple, back-to-basics camping meadow above Libanus, spread across twenty acres of wildflower meadow bordered by native woodland, with Pen y Fan and the rest of the Beacons ridge filling the view to the east. There's no electric, no shop and no glamping — just grass, space, and a working farm around you, which is exactly what draws people who want a quiet pitch rather than a resort. It's a fifteen-minute drive into Brecon for supplies, and the National Park Visitor Centre on Mynydd Illtud, with its network of paths onto the mountain, is a few minutes further. Because it's a genuinely small and simple site, it keeps a minimum age of fourteen for guests, and dogs are welcome at no extra charge. It suits campers looking to walk Pen y Fan or the Fan Frynych ridge and be back at a peaceful pitch by evening, rather than anyone after facilities.
