School House Farm Camping
School House Farm, Boarden Lane, Staplehurst, Kent, TN12 0EU, England

About this campsite
School House Farm is a small, Camping and Caravanning Club certificated site tucked into the Weald of Kent near Staplehurst, on a level four-acre hay meadow bordered by bluebell woods on one side and ancient hedges on the other. It's deliberately little more than a field with a heated toilet block: no electric hook-ups, no shop, just a private fishing lake with resident water voles and genuine rural quiet, a mile or so from the Hawkenbury Inn for a home-cooked meal. Fire pits are allowed with logs supplied by the farm, and the whole site is capped at a handful of units so it never feels crowded. It's a good match for anyone who wants Kent orchard-and-oast countryside without the trappings of a big holiday park, and is normally open from early May to early October.
