About this campsite
Springhill Farm sits on high ground between Seahouses and Bamburgh, with views running out over farmland to the sea, the Farne Islands and Bamburgh Castle, and the Cheviot Hills at your back. It's a working farm turned family holiday park, with grass and hardstanding touring pitches, wigwam-style camping pods and a scatter of static caravans and lodges, and it's genuinely close to the coast — half a mile to the nearest beach, a mile into Seahouses for the harbour, fish and chips and boat trips out to the Farnes. Dogs are welcome both on site and on the surrounding beaches year-round, which is unusual for this stretch of coast, and the site keeps things simple with clean modern facilities rather than a long list of extras. It gets busy in summer given how central it is for the Northumberland Heritage Coast, so early booking is worthwhile.
