The Old Brick Kilns is a thirteen-acre park in the village of Barney, tucked into quiet North Norfolk countryside about eight miles from the coast at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham. It's an established, multiple-award-winning site with a genuinely tranquil feel — mature trees, a wildlife pond with a bird hide, a coarse fishing lake and landscaped gardens rather than rows of hardstanding. Pitches range from ordinary grass touring pitches to the smarter, hardstanding Heydon's Meadow area with fresh and waste water hook-ups, and there's a games room, children's play area and Barney's Bar for takeaway food on site. Arrivals are asked to come between 1.30pm and 6pm because of the narrow approach lane, and the park also has a handful of B&B rooms and holiday cottages for family visitors who don't all want to camp.
