Washington Caravan and Camping Park
London Road, Washington, Pulborough, West Sussex, RH20 4AJ

About this campsite
Washington Caravan and Camping Park sits right at the foot of the South Downs on the old London Road through Washington village, looked over by the wooded crown of Chanctonbury Ring and barely seven miles from Worthing. It's a well-established, year-round touring park with electric hardstanding for caravans and motorhomes, open grass pitches, and a large tent field with plenty of hook-ups laid on for campers who want power. Facilities run to proper shower rooms, a laundry, an indoor washing-up area and free wifi, with a small reception shop open through summer for essentials. The South Downs Way runs past the gate, so it's popular with walkers and cyclists as well as families based here for the coast, and the village pub is a short stroll away. It's a straightforward, well-run site rather than a resort, with a strict quiet time after 11pm that keeps it that way.
