Wild Combe Camping

About this campsite

Wild Combe sits in a fold of the South Downs just outside the village of Elsted, near Midhurst, with two private spring-fed reservoirs on site that guests can swim or paddleboard in. It's a newer, well-finished site built around 27 fully serviced hardstanding pitches landscaped into the hillside for privacy, plus a handful of safari-style lodges for anyone who wants a proper bed and an en-suite bathroom without giving up the setting. There's no shop on site, but eBike hire has been added for exploring the surrounding lanes and bridleways, and Midhurst, Cocking and the South Downs Way are all a short drive or ride away. It's a quieter, more grown-up sort of campsite, better suited to couples and families wanting a scenic base for walking and cycling than to a big group wanting entertainment on site.
