West Hook Farm Camping
West Hook Farm, Marloes, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, SA62 3BJ, Wales

About this campsite
West Hook Farm occupies the very tip of the Marloes peninsula, the last farm before the coast path drops down to Martin's Haven and the boats out to Skomer Island. Robert and Karen Thomas run it as a proper back-to-basics camping field — three grass fields with sea views over St Brides Bay, no electric hook-ups, no shop, and none of the light pollution that would spoil what is genuinely excellent stargazing. What you do get is about as close as you can camp to a puffin colony: it's a five-minute walk to the Skomer ferry slipway and not much further to the sweep of sand at Marloes Sands beneath the sandstone cliffs. It's a seasonal site, open only through the spring and summer months, and bookings for peak weeks go early because there's simply nowhere closer to the crossing.
