Durdle Door Holiday Park

About this campsite

A large clifftop park on the Lulworth Estate, sitting in the fold of downland directly above Durdle Door itself, with the limestone arch a ten-minute walk down the private path and no car park queue to join. Camping and touring fields are terraced into the slope so most pitches look south over the Channel, and the site has its own shop, bar and heated pool for days when the sea is too cold. The South West Coast Path runs straight through, east towards Lulworth Cove and Stair Hole and west along the Jurassic Coast to Bat's Head and White Nothe. Wareham, Corfe Castle and the Purbeck steam railway are all half an hour inland, and on a clear night the dark sky over the arch is worth staying up for.
