Durdle Door Holiday Park

Allocated gravel hardstanding with electric and water on the pitch, hedged on three sides, taking a caravan or motorhome up to 9 metres with a drive-away awning. Roof tents and trailer tents are fine as the sole sleeping unit, but no gazebos or tents. Bring a hook-up lead and hose of at least 15 metres for the larger pitches.

Wooden pod sleeping four on one double and two singles, with a lockable door, covered porch, boot storage, picnic table, sockets, lights and a heater. Bring everything you would take camping except the tent, or add bedding to the booking. Dog friendly, with parking for one car alongside and the shower block a few minutes away.

Unallocated grass pitch for one tent up to 18 square metres, under the trees of the Rookery. Non-electric, with one car space, and the rooks nesting overhead in spring do make themselves heard early in the morning. Toilets, showers and the dish-washing area are a short walk away.

Unallocated sloping grass pitch with a view out over the Channel, for campervans of 5.5 metres or less. Electric hook-up is on the pitch, with water, grey waste and chemical disposal elsewhere on the park. No drive-away awnings, gazebos, tents or windbreaks on these pitches.

Insulated hut in the Rookery sleeping up to four on a king-size bed and a sofa bed, with underfloor heating, a flat screen TV, sockets and lights. The double bed is made up on arrival, sofa bed linen costs extra. Parking for one car alongside, and the coast path is 200 metres away. Two of the huts are pet friendly, the rest are pet free.
