Beech Croft Farm Caravan & Camping Park
Beech Croft Farm, Blackwell in the Peak, Taddington, Near Buxton, Derbyshire, SK17 9TQ

About this campsite
Beech Croft Farm is a long-standing, family-run touring park in the hamlet of Blackwell in the Peak, tucked between Buxton and Bakewell just off the A6. It holds an AA four-pennant rating and a Visit England Gold Award, and the family who run it (John, Julie and Jodie) keep it noticeably well maintained: 30 hardstanding pitches with electric, water and TV aerial points, and 40 grass pitches with electric access, plus two separate play areas split by age so younger and older kids aren't fighting over the same equipment. Daisies, the on-site coffee shop, does a good trade in bacon rolls on wet mornings, and there's a dog exercise field for anyone travelling with animals who'd rather not walk the lanes. It's a sensible, central base for Chee Dale, the Monsal Trail and Buxton, without being on top of either.
