Upper Booth Farm Campsite
Upper Booth Farm, Edale, Hope Valley, Derbyshire, S33 7ZJ

About this campsite
A hill farm campsite tucked into the head of the Vale of Edale, right below the heather moors of the Kinder plateau. Two fields take the pitches: a small sheltered one beside the facilities, and a larger undulating meadow that opens out to the hills. The Pennine Way runs through the farmyard and Jacob's Ladder climbs onto the plateau from the end of the lane, so you can walk out of the tent and straight onto the tops. Edale village, its two pubs and the station are a couple of miles down the valley, and Mam Tor is an easy morning from the gate. It is a quiet, unplugged sort of place with a strict 10pm curfew, sheep and curlews and not much else after dark.
