Cardinney sits right on the A30 about five miles west of Penzance, on the final stretch of main road out towards Land's End, which makes it a genuinely useful base for the far west of Cornwall without the narrow lanes that guard most Penwith sites. The ninety pitches are laid out across three areas separated by traditional Cornish stone walls and flowering shrubs, and it's an adults-only park, so it suits couples and older travellers wanting a quieter stay. A National Trust viewpoint nearby looks out towards the Isles of Scilly, Cape Cornwall and Lizard Point, and the Iron Age settlement at Carn Euny is a twenty-minute walk away. It's a straightforward, well-run touring park rather than a resort — a shop, laundry and fully equipped toilet block cover the basics, and it stays open year-round, which is unusual for this part of Cornwall.
