About this campsite
Gwithian Farm Campsite sits behind a sixteenth-century thatched farmhouse in the middle of Gwithian village, on the north Cornwall coast between Hayle and Godrevy. It's a short, flat walk to three miles of dune-backed sand at Gwithian and Godrevy beaches, both lifeguarded in summer and popular with surfers and families alike, and the coast path east leads to the seal colony at Godrevy Point. The pitches are set in landscaped gardens with plenty of grass, and the site keeps things simple and well run rather than resort-like: proper hot showers, a well-stocked shop, a coffee and cake stand called the Goat Shack, and regular food trucks on site through the summer. It's a genuinely family-run operation, popular enough in July and August that early booking is worthwhile, but with a relaxed, unfussy character the rest of the season.
