About this campsite
Dennis Cove has been the same family's home and campsite since 1987, and it's the closest site to Padstow itself — a level, pushchair-friendly ten-minute walk along the site's own path onto the Camel Trail takes you straight into the harbour. It's a traditional, no-frills field campsite rather than a leisure park: a top field with estuary views, modern shower and toilet blocks, and easy access for cycling or walking the Camel Trail towards Wadebridge or Padstow. Being on the estuary rather than the open coast, it's a sheltered, quieter alternative to the surf beaches further west, and its closeness to Padstow's restaurants, harbour and the Rick Stein empire is the main draw. Open seasonally from April to the end of September.
