Pennance Mill Farm has been run by the Jewell family since 1929, in a wooded valley within Cornwall's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, less than two miles from Falmouth. A private footpath and cycle track through the woods leads guests straight down to Maenporth Beach, a sheltered sandy cove popular for swimming, paddleboarding and sea kayaking, without needing to move the car. The camping field takes tents and tourers on electric and non-electric grass pitches, plus fully serviced hardstanding pitches with 16-amp hook-ups, and there are also chalets and glamping shepherd's huts for anyone without their own kit. It's a genuinely long-standing family business rather than a corporate park, dog-friendly throughout, with free showers and a children's play area.
