John O'Groats Caravan and Camping Site

About this campsite

This seafront touring park sits at the very end of the road, right beside the harbour at John o' Groats and the famous signpost, looking out across the Pentland Firth to the Orkney Islands. It's the traditional finish line (or start line) for end-to-end cyclists and walkers doing Land's End to John o' Groats, and also sits on the North Coast 500 route, so the mix of guests in summer is part touring family, part long-distance adventurer. Pitches range from hardstanding with electric hook-up to simple hiker and cyclist spots, and from the site you can watch puffins and seals offshore or catch the passenger ferry across to Orkney. The John o' Groats Brewery and its pub are next door for a pint at the end of the road.
