Bay View Farm sits in a sheltered valley a few minutes' walk from Croyde's beach, one of the best surf breaks in North Devon, with the working farm's fields providing a genuinely rural setting despite the popularity of the village below. Pitches range from basic grass through to premier hardstanding with water and 16amp electric, and there's a small cluster of glamping log pods and shepherd's huts for anyone without their own kit. The site runs its own fish and chip shop and pizza parlour in season, which saves the walk down into Croyde on a tired evening, plus a shop, laundry and a play area for younger campers. It's a family-run business that's been going for decades and it shows in how smoothly it's run, though it fills up fast through the summer holidays.
