About this campsite
Karrageen is a small, family-run park at Bolberry, a mile up the lane from Hope Cove and about fifteen minutes' drive from Salcombe, run personally by the Higgin family for many years. The touring field slopes down towards the sea with wide views over the water towards Bolt Tail and Burgh Island, and the South West Coast Path is a short walk away for anyone heading towards Bantham or Salcombe's Kingsbridge estuary. Facilities are well kept for a site this size, with fresh spring water points, a licensed shop with an off-licence at reception, and a proper family shower room alongside the standard blocks. It's a spot people return to year after year, so book early for the peak weeks of summer.
