Runnage Farm Campsite
Runnage Farm, Postbridge, Yelverton, Devon, PL20 6TN

About this campsite
Runnage is a 220-acre working beef and sheep farm in the heart of Dartmoor, farmed by the Coaker family since 1843, with a simple grass campsite tucked beside the East Dart River a couple of miles from Postbridge. There's no electricity and nothing flashy, just open moorland walking from the gate, clapper bridges, pony-trekking and wild swimming spots nearby, and a farm shop selling their own beef and lamb. The camping barns and YHA bunkhouse next to the field mean it's popular with Duke of Edinburgh groups and walkers doing the Two Moors Way, so it can feel sociable in summer, but the pitches themselves are spread across a big enough field that it rarely feels crowded.
