About this campsite
Little Cotton is a family-run touring park about a mile and a half outside Dartmouth, set on a gentle south-facing slope with views across the countryside towards Dartmoor. It's an easy walk or short bus ride from Dartmouth's harbour and the lower ferry, and the park-and-ride into town sits right next door, which takes the stress out of driving into the narrow streets in summer. Pitches are level or gently sloping with plenty of grass, the central toilet and shower block has repeatedly picked up awards, and there's a separate dog walking field away from the pitches. It's a straightforward, well-maintained base for exploring the South Hams coast and the River Dart rather than a site with entertainment of its own.
