Sunny Lyn sits in a narrow wooded combe on the edge of Exmoor, with the West Lyn River running the length of the site and free fishing for anyone staying. It's about a mile up the valley from Lynmouth harbour, on the route to Watersmeet, and within easy reach of the Valley of Rocks, the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway and the high moor around Brendon and Malmsmead. The touring and tent pitches are set close to the water among mature trees, which keeps things sheltered but shady, and there's a small breakfast café that opens through the season. It's a spot people come back to for the river rather than for sea views, though the coast is a short drive away.
