Castlerigg Hall Caravan & Camping Park
Castlerigg Hall, Keswick, Cumbria, CA12 4TE

About this campsite
Castlerigg Hall is a converted Lakeland farm on the hillside above Keswick, with panoramic views over Derwentwater to the Newlands fells and a woodland path leading down into town in about twenty minutes. It's a well-equipped, family-run touring park rather than a back-to-basics field: hardstanding pitches (some fully serviced, some with lake views), a heated campers' kitchen, an on-site shop and gallery, and a small collection of insulated glamping pods for anyone travelling without a caravan or tent. The famous Castlerigg Stone Circle is a short walk away across the fields, and the site makes a comfortable base for exploring Derwentwater, Borrowdale and the northern fells while staying within easy reach of Keswick's pubs and outdoor shops.
